Hey everyone! My name is Seth Samidan (he/him) and I am a fourth-year majoring in Accounting. I am from the Cleveland area and am now living in Columbus. Inclusion is a huge pillar of PSA as well as for myself, so I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone, and anyone interested in joining PSA! I enjoy working out, binge watching anime and television shows, playing League and Valorant, and hanging/going out with friends. Hello everyone!! I’m Daniele Lainez, my pronouns are she/her, and I’m a 3rd-year neuroscience major from Buffalo Grove, Illinois. In my free time, I love to play and listen to music, go to the gym, and try out new things, whether that be traveling/exploring places with friends or cooking new recipes! As PSA’s Director of External Affairs, I’m looking forward to strengthening and expanding our connections in the Filipino and overall cultural community around the Columbus area and also with other Filipino student organizations around the midwest. Hi, I’m Fayer Chen and I am a third-year student majoring in Architecture and minoring in Sociology. Joining PSA has helped me with connecting with Asian cultures outside of my own and being able to be involved more as the Director of Media Relations/Graphic Design has been very fulfilling. Hi! I’m Therese, (she/they). I’m a sophomore majoring in Environmental Engineering, and I am passionate about anything related to water quality, (I really like geochemistry and climate physics!). My interest also involves environmental justice, especially for Filipino communities. You can talk to me about literally anything!

HAFSAH RIZVI

Pilipino Culture Night Coordinator

Hello everyone!! My name is Hafsah Rizvi. I’m a 2nd year technically majoring in architecture but I don’t really know what I want to do right now. I am interested in medicine and computer science so I am exploring those fields as well while I try to figure it out. I am not Filipino, but having grown up around a big Filipino community, I’m really passionate about advocating for and promoting Filipino culture on campus. I’m really excited to be Culture Night Coordinator this year and hopefully deliver a Barrio that meets and goes beyond everyones expectations. If you have any requests or suggestions for this year’s culture night, please feel welcome to message me. Outside of school, I enjoy being outside. I long board and walk around a lot. Nature make me very happy :) Additionally, I *used to* swim and play basketball so I enjoy those a lot too. Good luck to everyone this school year!
