Bantay Bata 163

Philanthropy 2024-2025

This year, PSA is proud to support ABS-CBN Foundation’s Bantay Bata 163, a social welfare program for children in the Philippines. Bantay Bata was established by Gina Lopez in 1997 and started out as a hotline number service. By dialing 1-6-3, witnesses and victims can report child abuse and exploitation and help victims connect with licensed social workers for psychosocial support. Since their foundation, they have expanded their program to also include talk therapy sessions, first-aid, and housing, in order to create a safe space and provide emotional support for these young victims.
